AIDA-2020 3rd Annual Meeting Announcement
Jennifer Toes, 23/01/2018

The AIDA-2020 project will host its third Annual Meeting at INFN (National Institute for Nuclear Physics) in Bologna, Italy over 24-27th April.

The meeting brings together all members of the project across all work packages and organisations to report on their progress across the third year of the work programme, foster interdisciplinary discussion, and set goals for the year ahead.

In addition, AIDA-2020 will demonstrate the actions taken and growth made as a result of the recommendations by the Scientific Advisory Board (SAB) at the 2017 meeting in Paris, France.

The event will be held at Centro San Domenico in proximity to the basilica, an important historical landmark in the city of Bologna. Here, participants will present plenary talks and attend parallel sessions for individual Work Packages and Tasks. The project Governing Board will also meet and the SAB will make their third annual report on the activity in the last 12 months.

Prior to the kick-off of the Annual Meeting, AIDA-2020 will host an ‘Academia Meets Industry’ symposium over 23rd-24th April. The event will focus on areas of common interest on the topic of detectors and sources for non-destructive testing.

Registration for both the Annual Meeting and Academia Meets Industry event are open until 31.03.2018.

AIDA-2020 (Advanced European Infrastructures for Detectors at Sources) is an Integrating Activity project co-funded by the consortium and the European Union via the Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation programme, Grant Agreement No. 654168.
